As you know, this week’s blog series has been an attempt to make your marketing as captivating as Shark Week.
(A.K.A. how to create “an appeal” to your marketing.)
So far, we’ve discussed being relatable with your marketing and how to diversify your content in an attempt to attract your customers. But we have one more topic to discuss…creating relevant marketing.
Create Relevant Marketing
First off, let’s define “relevant” in the sense of marketing/advertising. Relevant marketing is bringing awareness to your product or service in a way that a target market sees as current or connected to society in some way.
Do you know what one of the most “current” or “connected” subjects is in today’s age?
(I bet you guessed that, didn’t you?)
Begin Effective Advertising!
We'll tell you how!
Being relatable with your marketing and diversifying your content are critical to attracting an audience (getting leads delivered to your business). However, the way that you do those two things is even more critical.
Let me let you in on a little personal secret of mine.
When I see an ad in the Yellow Pages or even in the local newspaper itself, I consider that business to be irrelevant and not worth using. Why would I give business to someone who doesn’t know how to effectively advertise their business? Those traditional forms of media are dead.
Yes, that may be my personal opinion, but I’m not the only person who thinks that. It’s the direction our society is headed. Keep up or get left behind.
It’s brutal, I know. But it’s the truth. The best way to effectively advertise and ultimately grow your business is with Internet marketing. You may not ever be quite the sensation of Shark Week, but you can be successful with advertising your business…when you do it the right way!
