Yeah, no one likes to skim through massive amounts of text on a website. They want to find what they’re looking for…fast. However, the search engines do like text. Keyword content is something that Google looks for when they crawl your site. This content does not necessarily have to be huge blocks of boring text. In fact, content can be created in a way that makes both your website visitors and search engines happy.

Imagery

Everyone loves pictures. It starts when we’re kids looking at “picture books.” Something about it attracts our eye and engages our minds. Your website design should include imagery…always. Not only is it good for means of attraction, but it is also a good supplement to SEO. The images on your site should be good quality and relevant to your business.

Call To Action

So the factors above are awesome ways to attract and delight customers on your website. But what are we all after? More business. To convert your website visitors into leads, make sure you give them an opportunity to contact you via a “call to action.” A call to action is a type of form that allows your visitor to 1) contact you or 2) give you the opportunity to further market to them (i.e. contest submission, eBook download, etc.)
