In school, I always hated science. In fact, I cheated my way through (sorry Mrs. Niemeyer). The whole time, I thought there’s no way I’ll ever use this again…
…and I was right.
I mean, I don’t mix chemicals or dissect animals, but I do a form of science, so to speak.
The science I do is called search engine optimization, or SEO. What’s the purpose and how do you achieve SEO?
Glad you asked, because us scientists love answering questions. However, unlike a normal scientist, I’ll keep it short and simple.
SEO Makes Sure You're Found!
SEO has one sole purpose: to make sure your website is found online.
As far as how to achieve SEO, that’s not quite as simple. Actually, that’s where the science part kicks in.
SEO is a process involving keywords, meta descriptions, headings, slugs (?!), content, alt tags, etc. How to achieve SEO will be the topic of this week’s discussion. But believe me when I say that optimizing your website for search engines is (hands down) the best thing you can do for your website.
Because what’s the point of having a website if no one can find it?
So follow along this week as we tell you how to achieve SEO…but if you’d like to contact us in the meantime, you can do so by submitting the form above!
