This week, in my “The Recipe Calls For” series, I’m giving you the “recipes” for some of my favorite (marketing) treats! First up, find out how to cook up savory social media marketing!
Savory Social Media Marketing
- 1 advertising professional (preferably one with social media marketing experience)
- 1 social media strategy
- 3 social media platforms (think Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
- Monthly offerings
- 1 computer
- 1 social media scheduling tool
- A dash of creativity
- A smidgen of entertainment
- A splash of relevance
Instructions: Your advertising professional should be well versed in not only the use of social media, but how to use those platforms to benefit your business (ad placement, optimum times for scheduling, best platforms for your target audience, etc.). This professional should develop a social media strategy, with the platforms they plan to use, several monthly offerings, the scheduling tool they plan to use, as well as a calendar of the content they plan to share.
Mix well and let set.
After the mixture has set anywhere from 3-6 months, you should experience savory social media marketing.
