First, let’s discuss “junk.”
How do you determine which emails are “junk” and which ones aren’t? Whether you realize it or not, you determine junk email based on relevance. If the email subject really catches your attention, and you look far enough into the email body that you realize you need ____________ (or at least need to save the email for future reference), then this email isn’t junk. In fact, it’s just the opposite. It’s something you need.
That’s how email marketing works. You get the attention of your receiver, make them realize a need, and show them how you can satisfy that need. All within the words of an email!
Even if your receivers don’t have a current need for your product/service, they will.
And when they do, you need to make sure your name is at the top of their mind.
