If you’ve ever tried doing your own marketing (the right way), you’ll believe us when we say marketing isn’t easy.
It’s easy to look at someone else’s job and say “oh I could do that.” Of course that is until you actually do that. Simply put, marketing isn’t easy. But why?
There are various components involved in an effective marketing program. A strategy, implementation, and consistency. While on their own, these 3 things may seem relatively easy. However, we will be the first to tell you they are not.
Before you can begin an effective marketing program, you have to have a game plan (a strategy). Who are you targeting? When do those people consume media? Where do they consume media? What do they want to see? How can you get their attention? Why would there be value in your product/services?
Marketing Isn't Easy.

Answering those questions and determining a plan of action is a good start to an effective marketing program, but implementation is key. The program must be implemented in a way that is both efficient and effective. If it isn’t efficient, you can waste a lot of valuable time. And if it isn’t effective, well, um, what’s the point in doing it anyways? You must have a goal in mind to determine if your program is effective.
After successfully implementing an effective marketing program, consistency is essential. If something works, keep it up! But you have to keep evolving. What you are doing may be great for now, but will it be great tomorrow? In the world of digital marketing, things are always changing. To remain successful, you have to stay current.
So, no, marketing isn’t easy. Especially if you don’t know what you’re doing! So don’t tackle your marketing alone. Hire a team you trust. A team that will get the job done right. A team called SDB.
