I came to a funny realization the other day.
I was reading a book. Now keep in mind, it’s not an old book. In fact, it was written just a few years ago. But in the book, I noticed something funny. When discussing a Facebook page, one of the characters said something about “posting on a wall.” I giggled to myself, thinking that’s a dead giveaway to the age of a book. Since Facebook changed the name of a user’s homepage from a wall to a timeline a few years ago, I assumed it was at least that old.
I know that story may seem silly, but it made me think. It made me think about the importance of making sure your advertising keeps up with the changes in the industry. And let me tell you, it’s always changing.

There will always be something “new and improved” when it comes to advertising. So how can you keep up with the “next best thing?”
I’d like to tell you there is some type of notification you can receive when a new advertising platform, technique, or tool is announced. Unfortunately, there simply isn’t. Making sure your advertising keeps up takes a lot of time and research. Most business owners don’t have time for that. In my opinion, it is always best to hire a company to do it for you. You have enough to worry about, don’t you?
