So, you’ve invested in a marketing program for your business. But how do you know if it’s working?
THAT, my friends, is one of the best things about Internet marketing.
When your marketing is online, all of your marketing efforts can be measured. For example, when you send out an email marketing campaign, you can see how many people used that email to navigate to your website, and exactly what they did when they got there.
As another example, consider an online ad. Whenever we place online ads, we create conversion pixels for the corresponding landing pages. (Okay, forget all that marketing talk. Basically, we are able to see which ads lead to conversions on your website.)
What does conversions mean and why is it an important metric to measure?
Make Your Marketing WORK.
Start by contacting us!
A conversion is the action on your website that provides value to your business. A conversion can be anything from a form submission to a phone call. You have to determine what you want from your website traffic. It’s our job to measure it.
It is important to analyze the metrics at least monthly to know if your marketing is working. In addition to measuring and analyzing your marketing efforts, it is also helpful to ask new customers how they found you. If they say “oh, I read a blog on your website!” or “I followed a contact us link on Facebook!”, you know your marketing is working.
In addition to simply getting more customers and growing your business, marketing also creates and maintains an image for your business. With marketing, you can establish yourself as an industry expert and brand leader. It’s important to keep this in mind when beginning a marketing program.
