Christmas is absolutely my favorite time of year.

I love everything about it. The music, the sweaters, the parties, the holiday cheer…what’s not to love?!

Not to be all “Miss America” on ya, but I love the spirt of giving around Christmastime. Don’t get me wrong, receiving gifts is awesome too, but seeing someone surprised by a gift you’ve given them or their eyes light up when they receive something they’ve been wanting…that’s the best feeling.

So confused…

That being said, I was the recipient of an unbelievable gift that I just can’t help but share.

First of all, let me say, I work for the most incredible company ever. My bosses make me feel valued, and my coworkers make me laugh every single day. Work isn’t boring or stressful, it’s just fun. I genuinely love my job. Being able to say those things is a gift it itself, if you ask me.

But at our company Christmas party, we received a gift from our bosses that is literally one of the best I’ve ever received. First, we watched a slideshow with pictures of us all in different places we’ve traveled. Through the slideshow, there were quotes and sayings about traveling, exploring, etc. Honestly, I was so caught up in watching the slideshow that I didn’t really think about where this was going or what the point was.

THE golden ticket.

Then, we were all given a “golden ticket” and told that this ticket was worth a plane ticket and lodging to where ever in the entire world we want to go…and we’re required to use it.

Needless to say, I burst into tears. In fact, writing this now makes me get chills! Can you believe that? Can you imagine working for people who care enough about you to not only let you go on vacation, but pay for it too??

I can.

Sometimes it feels like life is just too good to be true. This Christmas, I’m thankful for all of my blessings, but I’m especially thankful for my incredible job and amazing team God has given me to work with…merry Christmas to all!
