Does your page show up on the first page of search engine results? If not, you’re losing leads, and probably customers.
How Do I Show Up On The First Page Of Search Engine Results?
Ahhh, the million dollar question. I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard this question be asked…I wish I could give you a simple answer, but that’s not the case. I’ll give it a try though…

To be on the first page of search engine results, your website has to be optimized accordingly. Ever heard of SEO (A.K.A. “search engine optimization”)? Having a website (and pages within that website) that are optimized for search engine results help your website to show up organically (unpaid) on the first page.
But of course, at the end of the day, Google has to make money, too. So, to supplement your SEO and to gain a better chance of being on the first page of search engine results, you have to pay to play. Advertising on search engines (Yahoo, YouTube, Ask, SuperPage, Bing, etc.) in addition to Google can create a spot for you within the first 3 placements on the first page of search engine results, as well as along your sidebar. However, your content has to be search engine optimized to achieve the best placements.
So, long story short (but not really), your content needs to be optimized and you should definitely consider some ad spend to achieve that much-desired first page position on search engine results.
